Michael Snodgrass is an internationally savvy senior executive with extensive experience in a wide range of disciplines including Defense and Aerospace, Technology Development, Government Acquisitions and Requirements, Foreign Military Sales and Leadership Coaching.
As the current President for SG Strategic Solutions LLC, he assists defense industry and partner air forces in Strategic Planning, Capabilities Based Risk Assessment, Force Structure Analysis, Acquisition Program Review and Analysis, Foreign Military Sales, and C4ISR programs. His client list includes Boeing, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, L-3 Technologies, the RAND Corporation, BENCHMARK, and numerous small businesses. Recently, he was Vice President of International Business Development at Raytheon Corp; prior to that he was Director of Air Force and FAA programs at Engility Corporation. He retired from the USAF in December, 2011 with over 33 years of distinguished service.
During his military career, Maj Gen Snodgrass served on the US Air Force Board on four different occasions. He was involved in constructing and managing the budget and execution of the USAF’s $100B + portfolio of programs, with emphasis on Research and Development, Requirements and Capabilities Risk Analysis. Currently he also serves as Executive Board Member for the Air Force Association Bud West Chapter, Board Member for the Military Officers Association of America Tallahassee, Florida, and Vice President of Public Relations for the Military Officers Association of America, State of Florida. Mike currently donates his available time to providing Leadership Coaching and Training to Florida State University Air Force ROTC as well as a board member for the Florida Veterans Foundation. He is in demand as a speaker and lecturer on Leadership and National Security to groups such as the Kiwanis, Rotary, and Florida Republican Club. He was the keynote speaker at US Africa Command’s Black History Month celebration in 2010 and has been keynote speaker at several graduations and university functions.
