Terry Francis is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in software development, management, and sales & marketing. He is a proactive leader who specializes in leveraging best-in-class principles and practices to drive solutions that fulfill business objectives and maximize return on investment. In addition to solution development, Mr. Francis served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at an IT Services firm where he sold and marketed various IT and telecommunications services into new markets (small and medium businesses, non-profits, and state and local government). Services encompassed design, deployment, and support of Microsoft, Cisco, and AT&T products. He recruited, developed, and managed a sales and marketing team, institutionalized Microsoft Solution Selling as sales methodology, and used an international call center for sales cold calls. Simultaneously providing value to customers from their perspective and cultivating a team culture that engenders professional and personal growth for employees, he is a well-rounded leader that has both front office and back office experience and brings with him a broad understanding of the interrelationships between people, processes, and operations in complex business environments. Currently, Mr. Francis operates a custom software development company focused on Web Development and integration of Web Content Management Systems for small to large clients.
Terry is the product of a single parent home after divorce and knows first-hand the issues a child faces growing up without both parents active in their life. Terry pushed himself to overcome the odds by adopting a discipline of continuous improvement through ongoing self-evaluation, study, and focus. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
