Children's Books

Time to Put Kids First's children's book series supports the organization’s mission to improve the quality of life for children by restoring the value of parent-child and family relationships.
The books tell the stories of 8 diverse families and the challenges they face. They encourage communication and help children develop empathy and coping skills. Children can learn, while connecting to the characters most relateable to their own family’s experiences. A parent one-pager is included in each book to help adults facilitate a family discussion.

BOOK 1
Alex is a seven-year-old boy whose parents never married, but agreed to work together and raise him in a co-parenting partnership. By having parents who value each other’s parental role, Alex is growing up with consistent values, ethics, guidance and discipline.
